Always a delightful experience visiting Chaz 51. Our perpetually smiling server Ray was a pleasure. Food is always warm and consistently good. We don't get there often, but when we do, it's a treat! Kudos to Chef Charles and crew!

We visited Chaz 51 last night for my birthday. The hostess couldn't have been more charming or gracious. she's a gem. Our food was delicious (Filet for me, ribeye for him) and served in a timely manner. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating (I wish I could remember her name -- she told me she's originally from upstate NY if that helps identify her). We will be back.

We visited Chaz 51 on Sunday, February 2 for Happy Hour. It was our second visit and the experience was again excellent. Although the food, drinks, atmosphere and servers were great--it was the gracious attitude and welcoming smile of "Renate D'Angelo" that won us over. She is an absolute delight and will be a constant visitor at Chaz 51!

My husband and I had dinner January 28, our 53 Anniversary.
We had appetizers, the French onion soup, salads, baked potatoes, and steak. It was absolutely wonderful. The steak was delicious and very tender.
Our waiter was very personable and kind. We didn’t get his name but Chaz 51 Steak House is blessed to have him.
We will be back.

I called the place last minute for a birthday dinner celebration. They went way out of their way to have my table decorated with flowers, they did everything they contact the florist for me and went we got there everything was so perfect, plus food was pit of this world. 5 starts is not enough. They deserve 100 stars. Highly recommend

My family and I went to Chaz 51 on Friday night for dinner and we had such a great experience. The lamb chops were amazing, the ribeye was amazing we tried the zucchini fries for the first time another winner. Our server was amazing all around great experience and the owner Chaz took some time to come out and say hello which was very kind despite how busy the place was. We will be back again soon highly recommend. Thank you!

A big thank you to Mr. Charles and Miss Dorothy for hosting my nonprofit on October 26, where we celebrated the month of the girl child. They catered and served about 20 of us at the restaurant and everything was done with great service And a big smile, and most of all it was a generous donation from their hearts, thank you to all the staff that served us and welcomed us with open arms. The food was awesome a big thank you from myself and all the volunteers and all the young ladies at Light House Restoration Home Inc.

Celebrated a friend’s birthday Sunday, June 7th at Chaz51. It was absolutely wonderful! It was perfect. The food and drinks were sooo good. The baby back ribs were the best I’ve ever had. They were tender and seasoned perfectly. Others in our party of 5 ordered the Shrimp and grits and I got to taste that too - it was delicious.
The service was outstanding. I tell you - we were treated like dignitaries- I’m not exaggerating. Shout out to the hostess- her service was EXCEPTIONAL.Our birthday friend was treated so special. After dinner we went to the lounge and entertained by Fawny who sang to our friend and encouraged everyone to wish her a “happy birthday”. It was a great evening. We got to dance and sing favorite oldies.
We were only expecting dinner and a quiet celebration with a few friends. We got the very, best food, best service and entertainment. Truly an enchanting evening. Ten Stars for Chaz51! Additionally, it was very reasonably priced-we truly got a “big bang for our bucks”. Can’t wait to go back.

Was here for an ASALH Juneteenth event. My first visit but it won't be my last. The food was exceptional, and the servers were very attentive and personable. The chef uses the freshest ingredients and prepares each course to perfection. I had a salad of mixed greens, watermelon, feta cheese and toasted candied pecans that was delightful. My main course was a perfectly cooked medium rare NY strip steak with a delicate bearnaise sauce and crispy shoestring fries, and a not too sweet slice of mouthwatering pecan pie with ice cream. The portions are plentiful (everyone at our table had enough left over for another meal). The chef offers quite a variety of selections. There's something for every pallet. There's a lot of love and skill in every dish. It was also a pleasure to meet Chef Amherst as he visited each table. The restaurant and bar are also nicely appointed. A great place to visit whether for a drink and an appetizer, or a complete meal. You have to come here -- visit once and you'll definitely look forward to being a repeat customer!

The food…each evening I was part of a small group of fantastic friends. Their experience at Chaz allowed me to share a variety of apps, entrees and flavors. I’ll just say, the amazing tastes, and the company of friends resulted in the all time best evenings of my life. I so look forward to more.

I went to Chaz 51 this past week (2024 season) and had as good a filet as I have ever had. It was prepared perfectly, fresh crunchy salad and loaded baked potato. And, a very good selection of wines. Yes, I was more than satisfied. The service was prompt and welcoming. All in all, this was a great evening with friends. I encourage you to visit this great Venice restaurant!

Thank you for helping us celebrate our anniversary! As always, the food was perfect, and the staff was flawless! The hostess was very welcoming and made us feel as if we were special guests. AND, our waiter, Brendan J., was the perfect waiter. Brendan balanced excellent service with the appropriate small talk, jokes, and recommendations.
Definitely try Chaz 51. Our experience was wonderful.

My husband and I along with another couple enjoyed a lovely evening in the lounge of Chaz 51. Tammy, our server, was very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the cocktail and wine specials followed by a delicious dinner. The Philly cheesesteak was excellent with tender perfectly cooked beef. Our friend loved the shrimp tacos and was amazed at how many shrimp were in each of the 3 tacos. We will definitely be back.

We recently celebrated a birthday at Chaz51. What a great time. Right after being seated, Katie greeted us with birthday sparkles and a lovely birthday card. David waited on us, and he was superb. Everything was timed to perfection. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. They even gave us cake for desert. Thank you Chaz51!

Excellent food, service and front end staff
When we made reservations we told them we were celebrating our anniversary.
When we were seated our table was decorated with confetti and a card (so thoughtful).
Since this was our first visit we decided to try an array of dishes . We had the small plates of sesame crusted ahi tuna, the mussels Parisienne, New Zealand lamb chops and dinner portion grouper filet. (I know it is a steak house but we are not much of steak eaters ) but we heard good things about the place so we wanted to give it a try
Each dish was tasteful and complimented each other (we
chose well) the tuna was pared with a shredded salad combo which worked well with the tuna
The leek broth on the mussels was different than anything we ever had ( and we eat out A-LOT). It was so tasty we asked for a spoon so we could eat the broth like a soup. C'est délicieux.
There were 4 lollipop lamb chops that were grilled to perfection. They came in a very tasty green peppercorn sauce with goat cheese crumble. ( we also used the spoon to sop up the sauce)
The grouper had panko flakes on top. very tasty and flaky
After the filling meal the server said dessert will be coming around. He proceeded to bring us a very delectable chocolate mouse cake with happy anniversary written on the plate (oh so sweet).
Our first visit there was very memorable and the staff made our evening so special. We definitely will be returning again soon.

What an amazing experience. We were visiting the area and decided on Chaz51 to celebrate a birthday. We were so pleased with every aspect of our evening, from the reservation process, reception, service, and wait staff. The steaks were amazing! Hope we can come back before we head for home.

This was our first visit. While they have been Venice a number of years, we knew about them even before as they started out on Laurel and moved to Bird Bay off US 41. The food and service were excellent. Everyone in our party got steaks. Their fries were also very good. Our hostess Amber was very nice and checked on us often. We will definitely return.
