We love Millies-my husband and I come up from Venice once a month, and always get Eggs Benedict and Grits. They are the best, and we try them everywhere. Front reception area, servers, and "bus people" are always courteous and fast-this place runs like a well-oiled machine! We try to get there by 8:30, but yesterday hubby had a blood test, so didn't get there till 9:15, and it was very busy. Still-only waited 5 minutes. Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful breakfast restaurant. Everyone is friendly and a small town feel in a large city is especially nice. I had eggs benedict which is very tasty, along with a large side of potatoes/I always ask for sauteed onions. My husband had the omelette and he is able to pick the items he wants. Would highly recommend the food.

Millie’s is always my favorite Breakfast stop! Millie’s chefs make the BEST pecan pancakes! The are light, fluffy, loaded with pecans and delicious! I even eat them without butter! The staff and owner are always friendly! I have been coming to Millie’s since around 2010!

The decor is so charming. I relax as soon as I enter the restaurant. It has a sweet homeyness that makes me smile. The menu is extensive; it keeps me coming back to try all the dishes. Meals are consistently good. The staff is friendly and you can see their cooperation with each other to make sure the customers are tended to. I always enjoy my trip to Millie’s and you will too.

We love Millie's "build your own" omelets. Each is big enough for two or three servings; they heat up well at home.
The cranberry muffins are wonderful, too. We haven't found the chocolate muffins on the menu any more and we miss them.

First time to a restaurant since the pandemic started. All was handled well. My husband and I both ordered breakfast. Delicious as usual. It was my birthday and we thank you for the free meal. We have taken friends and family to Mille’s and all were very impressed. I might mention, we started coming here when Millie owned it and was alive. I celebrated my birthday with my husband. Our breakfasts were both done perfect! He ordered scrambled eggs light & usually gets them a bit rubberized. These were not to his surprise. And the side French toast was amazing! Our server, Georgia, was so pleasant, always smiling. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Millie's has the BEST Pecan Pancakes on earth! Everything on the menu is a good choice, but I always order these light and fluffy, filled with pecan pancakes! Lunch is great, too! I am glad it is close to my home!

We each had excellent lunch salads. My husband's was Greek with chicken and mine had both tuna salad and chicken salad with other delicious salad plate additions. Just right for a hot summer day. The environment is bright and cheerful and charming.

My wife and I have been frequenting Millie’s for several years now. As “Snowbirds”, it has become a rite of passage on each trip back to Sarasota. The crowds waiting for tables really tell the tale: this is not to be missed! Don’t expect glitzy, chain-restaurant ambiance. Millie’s is like eating breakfast in your favorite aunt’s kitchen - if only she could have cooked like that! You really can make a mistake ordering anything from the menu, but don’t miss the German Apple pancakes; you have to see them to believe them. And, even better, they taste as great as they look! We’ll be back, and back, and back.....

We've always had great service at Millie's, and the food is excellent. I usually order a salad with grilled salmon, which is wonderful. My husband loves the Greek salad with chicken. Breakfasts are very good, too, though we usually go for lunch since it's a little less crowded, depending on the season. Very popular spot in Sarasota!

Wonderful, fast service; Dona waited on us at 7:45, even though her shift didn’t begin until 8:00! I ordered the lox platter which had a very generous serving of Nova lox. The only thing that could use improvement was the bagel. Wish they had used a bakery-style bagel instead of one from a package! My companion was very pleased with her quiche and loved the potatoes that were served with it. A GREAT birthday breakfast!

This was our first time at Millies. We had the BEST waitress, Leeanne! We were amazed at how fast our order came out, and piping hot too! Super coffee...did I mention we had the best waitress, Leeanne? She was awesome! Our food was enough for 4 instead of 2 and delicious. I can't wait to go back!! Oh, did I mention our waitress, Leeanne, was the best too? I guess if you are going to Millies, be prepared for the best of everything!!!

This was our first visit to Millie's but we'll be back. Our breakfasts were terrific. I had the (HUGE) pecan pancakes which were delicious. Nice and moist and flavorful. Not dry and tasteless as happens to often. My wife had the Eggs Benedict which she said were the best she has had. The eggs were done perfectly. Not hard and flavorless as they are too often served. Service was friendly and professional. And the wait was not long at all - even on a Sunday morning. We'll be back.

I live in Bradenton, so I only can get to Millie's about once a month (sadly). Love the breakfasts. The omelets are huge, and the pancakes filling and delicious. Never have tried lunch yet, but will ASAP.
