Mini Vacation at Bentley's in Osprey

For my last mini vacation, I decided to check out Bentley's Boutique Hotel in Osprey, Florida.
From the second I entered the lobby I was amazed. At the front desk, I was greeted by a smile and given my room. I had the choice of a Deluxe Room and a Suite. Since I wanted my mini vacation to be as comfortable as possible I decided to go for the suite. The suite is spacious featuring flat screen TV with Premium channels and quite unexpected a large foosball table in the living room! Directly from the Living Room, a glass sliding door leads out to the pool area, which is located at the center of the hotel.
The way that beach sand, palm trees, and Tiki Bar surround the deck area, gives this relaxing pool a tropical feel. Around noon, the Tiki Bar hosts a barbeque at the pool side in which a wide variety of meals are created right there on the hot grill. Next to thick, juicy burgers (And I really mean thick and juicy!), extra long hot dogs and delicious steak kabobs you can pick any or all sides that you want to. After I ordered one of these big burgers, I took advantage or this huge variety of sides. Instead of coming back to my table with one plate of food, I ended bringing two more piled high with all sorts of goodies.
Because Bentleys opens the pool area during the day for day guests, the pool area has become a popular hot spot for locals to come and chill out on weekends. Aside from this main attraction, the hotel offers lots of entertainment such as live music at night at the Tiki Bar and even a dance club for 21 and up on Friday and Saturday nights. Bentley's also has its own restaurant called Morgan's, which I decided to check out that night. Not only was the service friendly, but also the food was absolutely to die for, I call it New York Style for a reason!
The next morning I got up early and enjoyed the complementary breakfast buffet in the Cafe Bentley's Coffee Shop and a few quiet hours of morning sun by the pool. And there was no hurry, even after checking out you are allowed to stay all day long for more fun.
This was a great place to spend my weekend making a mini vacation out of it.
Here are some tips on what you should definitely try:
1. Sit by the Tiki Bar and enjoy a cool drink
2. Order one of the amazing burgers at the poll side grille and stuff yourself with the side dishes
3. Hang out on the deck at night and enjoy twinkly lights and live music
4. Order the shrimp macaroni and cheese for dinner at Morgan's
5. Have fun!
