MORTON'S FIREHOUSE CHILI COOK-OFF

Osprey Avenue between Hyde park street and Hillview Avenue.

Fifteen of Sarasota Fire Houses including firehouses from Englewood, North Port and Boca Grande will compete against each other for the title of the Best Fire House Chili in Sarasota and for the Best Booth.

Every year all monies raised are donated to the Sarasota Firemans benevolent fund, which is a 501-3c non-profit organization. A panel of Celebrity Judges will be on hand to determine the winner. Enclosed is a list of confirmed judges with more to be announced:

Marc Bulger: 2x Pro-Bowl NFL Quarterback who played 10 years with the St. Louis Rams

Nick Nichols (Florida State): 10 yr. NFL D-Lineman Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NY Jets, Eagles and Redskins

Tripp Schwenk: Team USA Olympic Gold & Silver Medal Swimmer

Mark Royals: 15 yr. NFL Punter Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dolphins, Steelers, Jaguars

David Baas: NFL Center San Francisco 49ers and was a member of the New York Giants' Super Bowl XLVI championship team

Greg Pitts: Actor best known for his roles in Office Space, Coyote Ugly, and Greys Anatomy

For a Ten-dollar ticket, the public will be able to taste all of the Fire House Chili. There will be Live Music performed by local band The Daisy Dukes, Land Shark, Big Top Craft Brewery and Budweiser stations , food booths, educational booths, ,a childrens Fun center with face painting, also featuring the Tampa Bay Lightning Rolling Thunder street Team and Much More.
